Babington House is a Grade II-listed Georgian manor dating from 1705, set in 18 acres of parkland in the Somerset countryside between Radstock and Frome, roughly half an hour's drive from Bath. Run by the Soho House group, it works as both a private members' club and a hotel, with 33 rooms spread across the main house and converted outbuildings. Guests get a Cowshed spa, heated indoor and outdoor pools, a gym, a cinema, a tennis court and several restaurants serving seasonal, farm-to-fork food. It suits couples and families wanting a country retreat with proper facilities, though members share the space and Bath is a drive away rather than walkable.
