The Benn Conger Inn is a family-run inn set on 18 acres of countryside in Groton, New York, about 15 minutes from Ithaca and 35 minutes from Syracuse. Its ten individually furnished rooms and suites occupy two restored historic homes, the Benn Conger Home and the Dempsey House, and come with premium bedding, air conditioning and free WiFi. Guests also have use of a shared lounge, and there is parking, meeting rooms and a business centre on site. Reviews are consistently strong across major booking sites. The inn suits travellers visiting Cornell University or Ithaca College who want a quiet rural base rather than a city stay. Note that Groton is a small village, so dining and shops nearby are limited.
