Brera Meckenbeuren Friedrichshafen offers apartment-style rooms in Meckenbeuren, a small German town between Friedrichshafen and the Bodensee area. Each unit comes with a kitchen, free WiFi and parking, and guests also get a shared lounge, terrace and laundry facilities. The property is family friendly, non-smoking and has fewer than 100 rooms, so it stays quiet and manageable. Meckenbeuren station is about 420 metres away, roughly six minutes on foot, and Lake Constance Airport is close by, which suits travellers arriving by train or plane. Rates start around $99 a night, making it a practical base for families and longer stays. One drawback noted by guests is that housekeeping could be more thorough.
