Chetzeron Hotel is a 16-room boutique hotel and restaurant set at 2,112 metres on the ski slopes above Crans-Montana in Valais, Switzerland. Converted from a former cable car station, it combines stone walls, oak-lined interiors and an eco-friendly design, with rooms looking towards the Alps' highest peaks. Winter guests get ski-in/ski-out access, and the Crans-Montana ski area is a 13-minute walk away; Golf Club Crans-sur-Sierre lies about a kilometre downhill. Facilities include a restaurant, a small spa with sauna and swimming pool, room service and special diet menus, and children are welcome. It suits skiers and design-minded travellers wanting a quiet mountain stay, though its high, car-free setting means access requires some planning.
