Grand Hotel Son Net is a five-star hotel created from a restored 17th-century Mallorcan country house, standing at the foot of the Serra de Tramuntana mountains roughly 15 minutes from Palma. The historic palacio holds 44 rooms and suites, and guests have use of a swimming pool, a restaurant, a gym, massage services and valet parking. Its elevated position gives broad views over the surrounding countryside while keeping Palma within easy reach. The hotel suits adults and couples looking for a quiet, upscale base for exploring the mountains, and it works well for special-occasion stays. Families should note that the atmosphere is geared towards adults rather than children, despite kids being welcome.
