Hilton Vacation Club Desert Retreat offers apartment-style suites on South Decatur Boulevard in Las Vegas, roughly two miles from the Strip. Each suite has a full kitchen, in-room laundry, a living and dining area, and a balcony or patio, which suits families and longer stays. The complex has separate family-friendly and adult-only heated outdoor pools, a hot tub, fitness centre, barbecue grills, a game room, free WiFi and free parking, and the front desk operates around the clock. Guest reviews are strong, praising clean, quiet rooms and helpful staff. One drawback is the lack of lifts, so upper-floor suites mean climbing stairs, and the location, while quiet, is a short drive from the main resort area.
