Hotel Alte Post is a four-star hotel in the old town of Konstanz, a short walk from the central station, the Christmas market, the Dreifaltigkeitskirche and the Rosgartenmuseum, with the LAGO shopping centre close by. The building carries decorative details drawn from Greek mythology, including figures of Neptune, and the interior mixes traditional and modern elements. Rooms are non-smoking, air-conditioned and come with free WiFi and a fridge, and there is a restaurant and a terrace. Guests praise the quiet rooms, cleanliness and welcoming staff. It suits travellers who want to explore Konstanz on foot or arrive by train. One limitation is that ratings vary between booking platforms, with some scoring it more modestly than guest reviews do.
