The Hyatt Regency Nice Palais de la Mediterranee is a five-star Art Deco hotel on the Promenade des Anglais, in the centre of Nice. Built in 1929 and later restored, it keeps its 1930s character alongside contemporary furnishings across nine floors, with 145 rooms and 28 suites, many with balconies and sea views. Facilities include a swimming pool, sauna, gym, restaurant, room service, meeting rooms, valet and secure parking, and an on-site casino. The beach is directly in front, and the Old Town, Place Massena and the Port of Nice are all within a ten-minute walk. It suits travellers wanting a full-service beachfront base, though rates start high and some guests find the pool small.
