The building began life in 1967 as a 15-storey office block and reopened in late 2019 after a major renovation, now offering 136 individually decorated rooms with 1960s-inspired design, Quebec-made furnishings and original artwork. It sits steps from McGill University, the Underground City, Sainte-Catherine Street and the Quartier des spectacles. Rooms come with minibars, flat-screen TVs and tea and coffee facilities, and some have balconies or terraces. There is a lobby espresso bar, a 24-hour fitness centre, a bar/lounge and room service, and pets are welcome. One drawback: self-parking is not available on site. Rates start around $369 per night.
