Novotel Hamburg Hafen City in Hamburg, Germany has a corrected score of 3.3 ± 0.6 (thin evidence, no platform scores), ranked 91 of 197 hotels we score in Hamburg. Its platform ratings, normalised to 0-5, average 4.5 before correction.
The Novotel Hamburg HafenCity is a planned 4-star hotel on San Francisco Strasse in Hamburg's HafenCity district, in the Ueberseequartier area. It is scheduled to open in 2026, so it cannot yet be booked as an operating property. Once open, it will have 163 contemporary rooms, a restaurant called THE FLAVE serving local dishes, meeting spaces, a gym, parking and pet-friendly rooms. The location suits both business guests and families, with HafenCity shops and attractions nearby, the Alster Lakes roughly a 13 to 15 minute walk away, and Miniatur Wunderland about 4.9 km from the door. The main drawback is simple: the hotel has not opened yet, so no guest experiences exist.
