RACV Royal Pines Resort is a five-star hotel set on a 100-hectare property at Benowa on the Gold Coast, Queensland, about six kilometres west of Surfers Paradise beside the Nerang River. It suits families, golfers and business guests alike: there is a 27-hole championship course with driving range, a full-service spa, outdoor pool, hot tub, gym, four restaurants, room service, free WiFi and parking, plus a kids' playground, game room and cycling and jogging trails. Carrara Stadium is close by, and the airport is roughly a 30-minute drive. The resort is large and busy, so guests wanting a quiet, boutique stay may find the scale and family atmosphere less appealing.
