Regina Isabella Spa Resort is a five-star seafront hotel on Piazza Santa Restituta in Lacco Ameno, on the island of Ischia. Built in the 1950s over ancient Greek-Roman ruins, it occupies a modular stucco building between cliffs and the sea, close to the town centre, with a separate structure housing its spa. Facilities include a large thermal wellness centre, four swimming pools, a solarium, a private beach with two jetties, a restaurant, a bar and lounge, and 128 modern rooms, some with balconies. It also offers parking, a gym, room service and welcomes families and pets. Rates start around $581 a night, so it suits travellers seeking a full resort stay rather than a budget base. Note the hotel is scheduled to reopen for the 2026 season.
