Rocco Forte Verdura Villas are three- and four-bedroom private villas within the five-star Verdura Resort on Sicily's southwestern coast, near Sciacca. The resort occupies a 230-hectare estate with hilltop villas overlooking the sea and countryside, direct beach access, golf, a spa, two indoor pools, restaurants, a gym, room service and free parking. Villas sleep up to nine guests, so the place suits families and groups wanting space and resort facilities rather than a town-centre base. Interiors are airy and modern, and the area enjoys long sunny seasons. One practical point: the resort is roughly a twenty-minute drive from the nearest town, so a car is useful, and Palermo airport is about ninety minutes away.
