Stacci Rural Resort is a four-star agriturismo set in a restored rural building in the Cannizzara area on the quiet outskirts of Modica, in south-eastern Sicily. Surrounded by open fields, it has nine rooms, a seasonal outdoor pool with loungers, a restaurant, bar and lounge, room service, bicycle hire and free private parking. Guests get free Wi-Fi, in-room coffee machines and an Italian breakfast buffet, and the whole property is non-smoking. It suits travellers who want a calm countryside base within reach of the baroque towns of the Val di Noto; the cathedral at Noto is roughly 28 to 29 km away, so a car is needed for sightseeing.
