The Lodge At Kukui Ula in Kauai, United States has a corrected score of 3.3 ± 0.6 (thin evidence, no platform scores), ranked 10 of 27 hotels we score in Kauai. Its platform ratings, normalised to 0-5, average 4.5 before correction.
The Lodge at Kukui'ula sits on a bluff on Kaua'i's south shore, across from a public beach and looking out over the ocean. It forms part of an exclusive resort community, and guests have access to a range of facilities including a lagoon-style swimming pool, a spa with massage services, a restaurant, a gym and secure parking. The interior follows a traditional style, and the property welcomes children, with special diet menus available in the restaurant. It suits families and travellers who want a quiet, resort-based stay with space to relax, and it will particularly appeal to golfers, since the community includes private golf access. Bear in mind that the setting is a resort community rather than a lively town centre, so dining and activities beyond the property are limited.
